WroMedica Health Centre is an advanced healthcare institution (non-public healthcare institution) which is on the register of the Governor of Lower Silesia as a group of specialist clinics and a comprehensive outpatient research centre (SMO) which was built on the long experience gained from numerous clinical studies of phase II, III and IV which we conducted. Our work received positive opinion from a few audits and FDA.

We are a highly qualified team who gained experience by applying the highest quality standards and ethical principles of clinical research which are compliant with the standards applied by the leading sponsors.

Patient recruitment


In search of the best treatment options, we recruit patients on the basis of our own database and the cooperation with other healthcare institutions.


		

	



	

		

			
Housing and technical conditions


WroMedica has rooms specifically adapted to ensure that all the procedures are conducted with great respect for patient’s rights, GCP principles and Standard Operating Procedures of the Centre. The rooms where drugs and documentation are stored are password protected and all the rooms feature mechanical ventilation and air conditioning.


In WroMedica clinical monitors can work in comfortable environment at any agreed time.


WroMedica has got emergency power systems and adequate fire protection equipment. There is an archive room on the premises of the Centre.


Equipment


WroMedica is equipped with certified medical equipment which is indispensable in clinical research, eg. medical refrigerators, medical freezers (including ultra low temp -85°C freezers), thermometers, centrifuges, lab incubators, ECG device with online data transmission, resuscitation kit, scale with stadiometer, blood pressure meters.


We have fully equipped procedure rooms and necessary office equipment. Our own WroMedica computer network works under its own server. There is a Wi-Fi connection in the building.


		

	



	

		

			
Certificates


We have an ISO certificate 9001 and certificates of completion of GCP and IATA trainings.


Laboratory Diagnostics and Medical Imaging


WroMedica has signed contracts with external centres for the performance of radiology tests: X-ray tests, CT scans, NMR, PET scans, and laboratory tests.


Clinical research at other healthcare institutions


We conduct research at our own Centre and coordinate clinical trials at other institutions: clinics, private practices, hospitals, where we can deliver a full or partial range of services such as:


		

	


  • 
			coordination and administration of the trial by expert coordinators with experience in coordination and monitoring who are proficient in English,
  • 
			cooperation and maintaining contact with sponsors from the feasibility stage to the close out stage,
  • 
			preparation of all the forms which facilitate appointment management according to the protocol for the medical team, eg. logs, patient appointment calendar, activity reports for each appointment,
  • 
			completion of CRF, resolving queries,
  • 
			support in record keeping of adverse events,
  • 
			attendance at patients’ appointments,
  • 
			supervision of storage and distribution of investigational drugs,
  • 
			management of documentation and correspondence,
  • 
			attendance and help at audits and inspections,
  • 
			support in recruitment processes and ensuring patients’ participation in the trial.
